My stocks tier list
As many of you know, I deposited $100,000 into my margin account recently and I’m looking for new stocks to buy. π
A few weeks ago I asked on my YouTube channel for stock ideas that I could make a tier list for.
Many people gave suggestions. There were 22 stocks and 1 ETF submitted in total.
After doing some research on each one, here is how I have rated all of them. π
Putting together this tier list of investments helped me see which stocks other people are interested in.
I think Alphabet (GOOG) and Western Alliance (WAL) are probably the two highest conviction stocks I would be buying today based on fundamentals.
Algonquin AQN.TO is the only stock I would sell right now if I current hold it, lol. I know a lot of people have this name in their portfolios.
Maybe someone can educate me on this stock because I fail to find any compelling reason to own this company.
Its financials statements show mediocre growth and the stock seems overpriced.
If you want to see the reasons behind my rating decisions you can watch a full breakdown of me putting this tier together in my latest video here.
Want to play around with this tier list yourself? You can do so with the template I’ve created here.
Feel free to share your list with me below in the comments or tag me on Twitter.
Making a shopping list of stocks to buy is a good start. Once you have that, categorizing the stocks in your list on a buy/sell scale can give you more clarity about which stocks you should prioritize to add to your portfolio first.
I hope this makes sense and can inspire you to take the next steps to improve your financial plans. π€
